His latest EP “The Red Room” is out and he will be performing his piano set int he smallish but cozy space. Another newish venue worth noting is Drom on Ave B. So sculpt your facial hair, put on your ironic t-shirt and come on out. For those that want to see a band that can both play in tune and write a tune, check out The Rosewood Thieves at Pianos.
The jammy Seader brothers will be bringing their eclectic band Trikuti to tiny Fat Baby (112 Rivington) on Saturday night. This very original four piece band has an EP they just recorded with Eminem’s producer. Hey, what ever happened to that guy? Also over at The Mercury Lounge is Icelandic rock act Mugison.
Ask yourself this: do you know Who You Are? Haha, they are actually a Indie Americana, think Wilco mixed with Springsteen and Bright Eyes. They met in Ithaca and are now playing shows outside the college circuit. They will be playing at the craptastic Annex on Orchard on Sunday. Hey, you gotta start somewhere.
